Delete Your Thandora Account

This page explains how you can request deletion of your Thandora account (developed by DJS) and the personal data associated with it. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or by emailing us. Both methods remove the same data.

Option 1 — Delete your account inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the Thandora app:

  1. Open the Thandora app and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Open the side menu (tap the menu icon in the top-left corner).
  3. Tap Edit Profile.
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm your choice in the dialog that appears by tapping Delete account again.

Your account and associated data are removed immediately once you confirm.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to thandoraconnect@gmail.com.
  2. Use the subject line "Delete My Account".
  3. Include the phone number (or the email address) associated with your Thandora account so we can verify and locate it.

We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days, and confirm by reply.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following:

Data Status
Your profile (username, phone number, email address, profile photo) Deleted
Your saved location and notification preferences Deleted
Your push notification (device) token Deleted
Messages and business listings you posted, and any images attached to them Deleted

What data is kept, and for how long

We do not keep your personal profile after deletion. Limited records may be retained only where the law requires it:

Data Retention
Transaction and purchase records (for any paid features), as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance Retained up to the period required by applicable law (typically up to 7 years), then deleted. Payments are processed by Google Play Billing; we never store your card details.
Backup copies held by our cloud provider Automatically purged from routine backups within 35 days.
