Why Thandora
Most apps show you the whole world. Thandora shows you a two-kilometre circle — the shops, people and happenings you can actually walk to.
Every message is tied to the spot it was posted from. You see what was posted within two kilometres of you — nothing further away.
New posts arrive instantly, without pulling to refresh. Turn on notifications and hear about things nearby as they're posted.
Tap the heart on anything useful. Counts stay in sync across every device you sign in on.
Pin your exact location, add photos, and list products with prices so neighbours can see what you sell before they visit.
Posts run for 30 days and then clear out on their own, so the board stays current instead of filling with stale notices.
Anything off-colour can be reported in two taps, and you can block a person so their posts never reach you again.
Getting started
From install to your first post — about two minutes.
Download from Google Play and sign in with Google or your phone number. Add a name and photo so neighbours know who they're talking to.
Thandora needs your location to work out which posts are near you. Without it there's no way to tell what's within 2 km.
The feed opens on everything posted nearby. Switch between General, Premium and Business tabs, or search by tag to narrow things down.
Tap compose, write your message, and add a photo if it helps. Choose General for everyday notices — it's free.
Selling something or running a shop? Pick Premium or Business to add tags, pin your exact location and list products.
Posts last 30 days. If yours is still doing its job, extend it by another 30 days from My Messages.

General posts are free and always will be. Premium and Business are one-off purchases through Google Play for when you need more reach and detail.

Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. Thandora never sees or stores your card details.
Questions
No. Installing Thandora and posting General messages is free. Premium and Business posts, and the 30-day extension, are optional one-off purchases.
The whole app is built on distance. Your location is used to work out which posts fall inside your 2 km circle and to place a post where you made it. Without location permission there is no way to decide what to show you.
No. Other people see roughly how far away a post was made, not your live position. A precise pin is only ever attached when a business chooses to add one to their own listing.
General posts are removed. Premium and Business posts come off the public board but stay in My Messages, so you can extend them for another 30 days whenever you like.
Open the menu on any post and choose Report, or block the person outright. Reports are reviewed and we act on anything that breaks the rules.
You can request deletion from inside the app, or follow the steps on our account deletion page. Your messages and profile are removed.
